Everyone is different!

It has been observed that children with special education needs have limited socialization with their normally developing peers. It is known that especially students with normal development cannot communicate much with their peers with special needs. For this reason, there was a need for a project that would enable these two groups to socialize by raising awareness about each other.

In our project, it is aimed to raise awareness in the society by drawing attention to children in need of special education and disability groups, to gain a sense of empathy, and to develop feelings of respect, understanding and tolerance. We aim to develop all our students' physical, cognitive, socio-emotional, motor development, skills and creativity in making tools and materials through activities we will plan with the participation of families on subjects such as science, art, music, mind-intelligence games, environment-forest.

We will exhibit and sell the handmade artistic works created within the scope of the project. Peer educations are planned in line with systematic and planned activities where students with special education needs will meet with students who require family participation and those with normal development. It is aimed to increase the social interaction of children with special education needs by supporting their independent living and social adaptation skills and also by being in social environments with their peers (class visits, restaurants, picnics, playgrounds, cinemas, theaters, cafes, etc.).

We aim for our children to get to know the environment, develop effective communication skills, comply with the given instructions, maintain their self-care skills and daily life skills, fulfill their life skills together with the disabilities in special education, and become self-sufficient.

We aim to change the problems experienced by children with special education needs in gaining self-confidence, sharing with others, and cooperating with various activities according to the type of disability.
